Joe,  
   Congratulations on becoming an Eagle Scout! It is a great accomplishment; but much more it is the journey of faith, hard work, friendship, and dedication to ideals that help mold an Eagle Scout. As Troop 1518's first Eagle Scout, you have been a true role model to all our boys. Thank you for inspiring our scouts to strive to join you at eagle rank. Good luck at UCI. I know you will be successful in college and also in your future endeavors.

To Joe Russo and the scouts and leaders of troop 1518.
   I would like to apologize to Joe, and the scouts and parents of the troop for failing to meet my responsibilities pertaining to Joe's Board of Review. This was especially remiss on my part considering I spent time with Joe at camp Kern and found him to be an icon for the Scouts in leadership and skills. I wish Joe the best, which will not be a difficult reach since he is an ITALIAN!     YES!
